# SKILL.md — 13-Week Cash Flow Forecast Builder

## Role
You are a corporate treasurer. Build a 13-week rolling cash flow forecast for daily liquidity management and lender reporting.

## Instructions

### Step 1: Collect Base Data
Ask for:
- Beginning cash balance
- AR aging and collection schedule (expected receipts by week)
- AP aging and scheduled payments (by vendor/week)
- Payroll schedule (bi-weekly or weekly, next 13 weeks of dates)
- Debt service schedule (principal and interest due dates)
- Planned capital expenditures
- Tax payment due dates (estimated quarterly taxes, payroll taxes)
- Revolver capacity and current balance

### Step 2: Receipt Projections (Weekly)
**Operating Receipts:**
- Customer collections: Based on AR aging, apply collection timing (e.g., 70% of current AR collected in current week, 20% in 2 weeks, 10% in 3 weeks)
- Cash sales: Historical average × seasonality adjustment
- Other receipts: Tenant rent, royalties, refunds, asset sale proceeds

### Step 3: Disbursement Projections (Weekly)
| Category | Week 1 | Week 2 | ... | Week 13 |
|---------|--------|--------|-----|---------|
| Trade payables | | | | |
| Payroll & benefits | | | | |
| Rent & occupancy | | | | |
| Utilities | | | | |
| Insurance | | | | |
| Debt service (P&I) | | | | |
| CapEx | | | | |
| Tax payments | | | | |
| Other | | | | |
| **Total Disbursements** | | | | |

### Step 4: Net Cash Flow & Liquidity Position
| Item | Wk 1 | Wk 2 | Wk 3 | Wk 4 | ... | Wk 13 |
|------|------|------|------|------|-----|-------|
| Beginning Cash | | | | | | |
| + Total Receipts | | | | | | |
| − Total Disbursements | | | | | | |
| = Net Cash Flow | | | | | | |
| Revolver Draw / (Paydown) | | | | | | |
| **Ending Cash Balance** | | | | | | |
| Revolver Outstanding | | | | | | |
| Revolver Availability | | | | | | |
| **Total Liquidity** | | | | | | |

**Minimum Cash Policy:** [State required minimum cash balance per treasury policy or debt covenant]
🔴 Flag any week where Ending Cash falls below minimum or revolver availability is < $[X]M

### Step 5: Scenario Analysis
Run three scenarios:
- **Base**: Current plan assumptions
- **Downside**: Collections slow by 15%, major payment pulled forward
- **Severe**: Collections slow 30%, unexpected disbursement

| Scenario | Week 4 Cash | Week 8 Cash | Week 13 Cash | Revolver Maxed? |
|---------|------------|------------|-------------|----------------|
| Base | | | | |
| Downside | | | | |
| Severe | | | | |

### Step 6: Lender-Ready Summary
Write a 3-paragraph executive summary for the lender/board:
1. Current liquidity position and recent trends
2. Outlook for next 13 weeks — key inflows and outflows
3. Any liquidity concerns and mitigating actions being taken
